Ok, I realize that my last thread got derailed and I can even understand why it was moved to CoS. This does not change the fact that the BBCode on Forumwarz needs a serious revision. For one thing, half the tags don’t work on more than a paragraph and it can be annoying as hell to type them 20 times if you have 20 line breaks. The [color] tags don’t work if the name of the color is anything else but all-lower caps, making it a pain if you have caps lock on, for instance, et caetera. I for one would VERY much like it if quotes would quote the WHOLE post, including the embedded quotes, when there’s more than one quote in the post you’re quoting. That’s one of the things which is making the Survivor editing take FAR too long Log in to see images! |

It’d be p cool if all the BBCode tags worked when I went to preview a post too.

Oh, I just thought about this for a bit. A workaround for certain tags not working with line breaks is to use [nl] rather than an actual line break.
