drinking a Mountain Dew Throwback. This and Pepsi Throwback are absolutely ****ing epic. I’ve tried Heritage Dr. Pepper and that’s pretty delish. Pepsi should make these a year-round thing. They could make good money off them. Has anybody tried these and like ‘em/not like ‘em? |

These aren’t available in Canada, but I’ve wanted to get my hands on them ever since I heard of their existence. I’m thinking road trip. |

The throwback sodas are great, but that’s not the only way you can get soda with sugar instead of corn syrup. If you can get your hands on Coke bottled in Mexico, that is. |

That’s right, I forgot about these! Also, Jones Soda and IBC are made with real sugar. There are probably more.
But anyway, not to get too off-topic, yep, the throwback mountain dew I had was good. plk edited this message on 01/23/2010 9:35PM |

There was a special Pepsi here sold as “Pepsi Natural” that was really good, but it bombed for some reason so it’s been discontinued.
It’s sort of funny about the differences in regions. There is absolutely no way an Orthodox Jew could survive here, nothing is Kosher, nobody makes an effort to be (unless you’re into vegan) but Mexican Coke is available almost everywhere. And it’s a lot cheaper, since it’s so easy to smuggle a lot of it across the border. Log in to see images! |

I don’t normally like Pepsi, but pepsi throwback I like for some reason. Especially with Mountain Dew, I sorta like it, but the MD throwback is the same with the pepsi throwback. I love dr. pepper and the Dr. Pepper with sugar is even moar awesomer. I’m more of a Coke person. Coke needs to claim some territory with this niche. I’d be all over that shiznit. There are a lot of places in SF that carry mexican coke, but that’s probably cause we’re hippies. |

I don’t see what’s so special about it, the tastes are almost impossible to tell apart unless you had he counterpart like 5 minutes or less ago. It’s just using the whole “everything was better back in the xx’s” ploy.
The only benefit I see is it’s slightly healthier, I think. As healthy as a soda can be, which is not healthy still. |
