That **** is so true, those four consecutive images.

Here’s my philosophy:

1. I think the golden rule of trolling is never admit you are a troll or that you are trolling. It absolutely defeats it; it’s like telling the store you are a mystery shopper. That includes saying you are “troll”, having “troll” in your name/av/title, joining a “troll” club, etc.

2. Successful trolling should be gauged by the reaction received divided by the effort put in.

3. Trolling isn’t anything to be proud of. It’s just something to entertain you Log in to see images! of no real value. If you’re proud of being a troll it’s kind of sad really.

That is priceless.

I think “trolling in a way that makes other people laugh” is an art. Just being a jerk and ****ing people off is easy, especially if you know where their bumons are and how hard to push them. Like CS said, it’s primarily for self entertainment value. But doing so in a way that entertains not just yourself but the people in power (i.e., the people who have ban power) is a lot harder, like selling a comedy routine.

I do it solely for self-amusement, I’ve never been out to impress. If people like what they see, more power to them. If I somehow make a spectacle out of it, I sit back and laugh, and I am very amused. (Not in that order)
