Starting Tonight: The Domination Blackout

Tonight I’m gone to implement something a little new to Forumwarz Domination that probably should have been in Domination since it launched.
Basically, a bunch of people got ****ed off last week when the round ended and people were able to play cards past 9PM. The reason for this is that it takes the server a little time to process the results for every Domination team. And if you squeeze in a card or scoop before your team is processed, it can upset the balance.
So, at 9PM EST, Domination will have a blackout.
The blackout will last for 30 minutes, during which time you can’t access any of the Domination tools including viewing your scoreboard. You might see medals awarded in your character notifications (if you were lucky enough to win them), but you’ll have to wait until the blackout is over before you can see the final results.
The final scores will be posted at 9:30PM EST.
Remember that all times are based on the server’s clock, which is not necessarily the same as your own! To be sure when the round ends, see the competition page countdown! |

What about any scoops one could get during the blackout, will they be put in to the new bracket or lost?
I’m guessing the first but want to be sure. |

Good to know, then will make sure to not play at these times. Also glad that wont have something to change it to make medals really hard to get because Iv been sucking so far and still need to get some. Yay for things being fixed up. |

There’s a slight bug with the blackout page. It’s saying:
“7 days 0 hours 25 minutes and 33 seconds until ….”
I think the “7 days” part probably shouldn’t be in there.

Lol. I love the change, I just didn’t notice it until too late Log in to see images! I’d timed when the round ended exactly last time, and was playing to match that. Oh well, next week Log in to see images! |

Would you consider making Domination last 8 days per round so that the end date cycles? It’d be nice not to have to miss the last couple hours every time because Wednesday night I have a date nearly every week.
