industrial metal = metal + industrial

Avenged Sevenfold is a band that doesn’t really belong in this thread because they are utter ****, but their drummer died and he was p talented for a mainstream act. Igor Cavalera he was not but still, talented in his own right. RIP. Log in to see images!

I haven’t heard anything Igor recorded in Cavalera Conspiracy or post-Against Sepultura because I just bumumed it would suck, so it’s possible I’m full of ****. But the two times I saw him play live it was truly incredible. He was like the Keith Moon of metal drummers.

I never said he was a ****ty drummer. I’m guessing you’ve got a problem with reading comprehension. My point is that when talking about talented drummers Igor Cavalera is a dumb name to be brought up. Dude is mediocre.

I guess that’s where we disagree then. Maybe he’s a ****ty drummer in the “new” Sepultura (like I said, I haven’t heard) but I was truly impressed when I saw him 10 years ago. Give Roots another listen. Drummer may not even be the correct term since half the songs on the album are different varieties of percussion.

Regardless, if it really doesn’t make a difference, pull the string out of your sandy vag and drop it instead of acting all bumhurt over the idea that I like his (old) style of drumming.

Mostly Black Metal, some Death and Doom Metal.
