It was all fine and dandy, till Forumwarz member Celerysteve decided to change the rules of his contest on a new round, without telling anyone. The rule change? People not in the contest now can troll remaining contestants. Link: http://forumwarz.com/discussions/view_post/726034

Pay attention to his quote

“In round three spectators may flame back and have the same rights as the contestants; the exception is spectators can not be eliminated, nor can they win this contest.”

So, does that sound a bit fishy to you? Yeah, me too. He noticed I was banned and changed the rule at the same day, not giving even a delay to not make it blatantly obvious that he did it to screw over Forumwarz member Fran.

Now, I reported the toxx call more than a day ago. No answers till now. I was willing to be patient about all of this till this post: http://forumwarz.com/discussions/view_post/726174

So, for me at least, it’s really obvious that he changed rules on purpose to screw over Forumwarz member Fran aka myself, hence a blantant toxx call.

I’d like to see mods doing something about this. Stop the ****ing double standard because Celerysteve wrote a ****ty mission for you. The toxx rule is clear, changing rules midcontest gives you a ban based on how many BPs are at stake. I know that well, being banned for a full 2 weeks for toxxing 20 BPs once.

srsly tho, fran’s ban was bull****. other ppl trolled that thread and didn’t get banned. she def didn’t deserve a week for it.

idc about my ban, I want to see Celerysteve banned because of his toxx call. IMHO you should stop being a male reproductive organsucker and think for yourself instead of doing what CS tells you to do while he’s ****ing you in your ear.

Basically, this.

Toxx comes into play when the rules change in such a way that something they promised to do no longer applies. Such as pay out the same amount of BP, or pay out at all. Changing the rules to allow people to flame other people is not toxx.

Regardless of when the rule changed, the rule *at the time of the post* was that spectators were not allowed to troll the contest. Fran trolled the contest. A rule change after the fact does not void the fact that the rule was broken to begin with.

If other people trolled, it didn’t get reported… and I’m not going through 300+ posts looking for trolling that was not part of the contest and was therefore against the rules.

As for the length of time, it had nothing to do with the offense and everything to do with ban history. Ban lengths are primarily determined by history… if you can’t take a week for a simple troll – don’t troll so many times that that’s the number you draw. It’s really not a difficult concept.
