I used to smoke weed and drink, neither of which are too terribly life-destroying, but I was going downhill fast, culminating in an arrest so I went straightedge. |

SXE is a movement against “crutches” including religion. If you’re a Christian and you don’t do bad stuff it’s just because you’re religious; saying you SXE just makes it sound like you’re trying to sound cool but you don’t know what you’re talking about. |

If you’d really like to know, I was going to say “because I’m Christian I don’t do that stuff,” but typically that provokes an even more venomous response, so I tried to play the safe route and go with stuff that people had already said. Forgive me, next time I wont’ even bother posting.
And by the way, if you’re trying to be sXe to be “cool” then you’re doing it for the wrong reasons. |
