This would greatly slow down the creation of multis. Besides, they’d want to see the intro anyway. The direct link to /spendfriend/signup makes account creation too easy. It’s a one time process for legitimate users, and an N-time process for cheaters.

I hit F5 accidentally (20+ tabs, you know) when I first signed up and it seemed to have no referer-check. Log in to see images!

A better solution would be making a new forum called “Newbie Help”, and give lv4 access to everyone there.

Meanwhile, to access the other forums your account must be active for a week (if you think a week is too long, make it 4-5 days). Make that the same for INCIT and buildrs.

That would not scare away dedicated trolls, but not only it would prevent instant forum posting, but it would also kill most of the illegal multis that are created for the sole purposing of upvoting/downvoting.

Idea suggested before: When you reach level 4, and are given an option of going to the forums for the first time, you must complete a mission with a new sTalk contact, which involves a detailed quiz about the rules.

Same thing applies to things like buildr and INCIT.

That way, newbies know how to do stuff, and are not overwhelmed, and it’s more annoying for the illegal multis.
