hey ET, please fix multiple ties in dom ASAP

If you have any spare time while the server is down for 24 hours, could you pretty please look into this and try to fix it before the next dom season starts? Log in to see images!
The rules of dom state that ties of 3 or more players will not yield medals. But that’s not the case. Apparently the current code allows up to 5 players to tie and win medals. When 1/3 of a bracket can cooperate and win medals, it makes dom rather boring. This bug has been exploited a lot this season, which is one of the reasons for such a homogeneous medal count among the top players. Can you please please please try to get this fixed ASAP for the new season?

which is exactly why it should be fixed since we’re starting a new season. if it can’t be fixed, at least the rules need to be officially changed so that people who are new to the game can take advantage of it as well. but with 5 way ties on all medals, it’s not really domination anymore… more like an ice cream social at a christian camp. |

Sure, I’ve 2-tied a few times with people so none of us could get destroyed by each other, but I think that’s dom politics. But 5+ ties like that? Yeah, it needs a fix. |

2-way ties are great, I don’t even have a problem with 3 way ties depending on the size of the bracket, but 4-5 way gets ridiculous. |

New strategy: Everyone get 1 scoop for each flava and then stop playing for the rest of the week so everyone in the bracket gets 3 medals each week and feel happy. |

Okay, it’s been fixed. In the top two (competitive) buckets, the max ties will be 1. In all other buckets, it’s 3. |

I think this means 0 ties in the top 2 brackets and 3 way ties in other brackets.
In this case ET means 1 tie = 0 ties, because otherwise we have 4 way ties in other brackets, which is still too many.
