if you can get over the cheezy graphics and don’t mind reading all the walls of text then it is considered the most immersive of all the Elder Scrolls games, even more than Oblivion. |

Aye , and it has a **** load of mods you can play, so even after you go threw the intire game and the add-on’s there are 100’s if not 1k of hours more. I like it a lot better then oblivion.

Let’s not forget that the in-game reading is some of the best-written stuff I’ve ever had the opportunity to read, in universe. I was practically enthralled by a lot of the skill books. |

I liked Elder Scrolls 3, Specailly the Icaran scrolls of flight or something along those lines, made me lol a couple of times. |

That is an understatement.
At the rate mods and stuff get made – even if you only played the ones that were fairly good or better – you could play Morrowind 12 hours a day and never get through all the user made content… And that’s coming from someone who hasn’t even looked up any new mods in the last 3-4 years. There are a lot of ****ty ones though, be choosy. |

My Morrowind folder takes about 2gb. My Morrowind mods folder takes 12.5gb. Which is about 1/3 of my Oblivion folder Log in to see images! |

The main story of oblivion is much shorter than from morrowind. I think the world of morrowind is way bigger and way more complex.
you have different houses you cchoose one to join there are different guilds and religions you can choose.
everything with different quests. And interfering with quests from other choices.
The graphics look a bit old now. You will not get such sunrises as you can see in oblivion.
And that is all without any mods.
I think about start playing it again from the beginning. |

I love Morrowind, so immersive and fun. The mods do add much to it as well, like Morrowind comes alive (adds tons of new NPC’s and mercs) and The Illuminated Order (adds a new faction). Also, I’m sure we all remember the Lusty Argonian Maid. |

Aye all this talk of morrowind made me see if i could find my old box , closest thing i found was my last roommates empty xbox version, I know i have Oblivion some where but.. waking up on a boat as a slave > seeing some ****ing king die. |

Dont waste your time with Morrwind, let me explain it in two sentences:
You get thousands of quests you never finish because its so annoying to go through your quest journal. You walk really really slowly around an empty world fighting pterodactyls |
