Not to badmouth the Forumwarz peeps (I love it here, actually!), but I am naturally a little nervous about giving my CC# (even thru PayPal) to people I don’t know. I rarely use PayPal, although I have a PayPal account. Is it safe?

you don’t really need a paypal account to buy bp. If you are concerned about the security ask Paypal, because CZ will just tell you to use it. |

CZ will never see your CC# I don’t believe, which is why paypal exists in the first place. Paypal has your cc#, they take money from you, and they pay CZ for you. CZ never gets you info directly, they just get money.

Count the number of people who have bought brownie points, then count the number who reported being ripped off/scammed. The odds are with it being safe. Paypal aren’t the greatest company going, but they do appear to be trustworthy when it comes to CC information. |

We use Paypal because it means we don’t have to worry about hosting or dealing with credit card numbers. We pbum it all off to their (highly secure) systems and they just notify us when a transaction has cleared.
If you are nervous giving your CC# to Paypal, you can always buy a Visa cash card at a store and use that online. I promise you though that Paypal is as secure as it gets. |

The only think you should ever be worried about is storing money with paypal as a bank, that’s where all the bad stories come from. But you’re not doing that at all so it’s all good. |
