So you want to raid with the best klan in forumwarz, but you’re not sure how raiding works?

Raid basics:

The goal of a raid is for the klan to hold 12 forums at all times. 13 players are allowed to participate in a raid; you may not include an alt. Once the klan has 12 forums dominated, we wait for one to be taken over, bringing our count down to 11. Then we send a player to pwn a forum, bringing our count back up to 12. Every time our count goes from 11 to 12, all the raid participants earn one vanilla scoop. This is all coordinated in our IRC chat using DomBot, so it is absolutely mandatory that you be there.

Be aware that raids typically take 3 to 4 hours. If you can’t stay that long, it is possible to give you priority so you can use your visits faster, but it is preferable that you be able to attend the entire raid.

Raids will be announced in a separate thread in the WeChall Secret Forum at least 3 days in advance so you can save your visits . If you plan on participating in the raid, please post in the thread to confirm your position. We expect all raiders to show up with 12 visits. If you have less than 12 visits, you still may be allowed to participate if the 13 raid slots are not full, but preference will always be given to players with 12 visits.

Go to our IRC channel at least 10 minutes before the raid is scheduled to start. Once everyone who has signed up for the raid is present, an officer will start the raid and announce this in the channel. Then, go to our klan page and click ‘Join raid’ under the Raids tab.

Log in to see images! Joining a raid when you have not signed up for it and are not present in IRC may result in you being kicked from the klan and hated by all klan members for the rest of your existence in Forumwarz. Don’t do it. If you see that a raid is happening, go to IRC first and ask if you can join.

To start the raid, everyone will ‘prep’ a forum. Prepping a forum means to attack the forum, but stop when you get to the last thread. When there is one thread left in the forum, STOP and return to the chat room and wait for the command to finish killing the forum. For the first round, everyone will attack their prepped forum at the same time, then after we have 12 forums pwned, we wait for one to be taken and then individual raiders will be sent to pwn their prepped forum.

When choosing a forum to prep, check the Vanilla page and DomBot’s list of prepped forums. Choose any forum that our klan is not holding and that is not prepped by another raider. Sometimes, if our forums are falling too fast or too slow, an officer might request that you prep low turnover forums (Episode 2 forums, especially the clbum specific forums) or high turnover forums (Episode 1 forums and lower level community forums). You can easily maintain your streak while raiding using the pistachio script. After you pwn your forum, check the vanilla page and DomBot list again and select another forum to prep.

DomBot:

DomBot was created by quangntenemy and is an invaluable aid in our raids. DomBot maintains a list of the forums we have prepped, and tells you when it is your turn to pwn a forum. An officer will be commanding DomBot, but there are 2 commands that all raiders need to know and use:

!a forum name – adds the forum you have prepped to the list

!r – removes your forum from the list

We always need one or two players who will constantly refresh the Vanilla page and will announce in the chat when our count falls to 11 (or lower). The only requirement is that you have the forum helper gold script installed (see below).

If you need to go afk during the raid, that’s fine, just make sure the officer commanding the bot knows so that she or he can set your priority lower until you return.
