Forumwarz is full of references to Internet culture. If you spend a lot of time surfing the Internet, you will undoubtedly notice some of them.
This thread is for pointing out the ones you’ve found. I’ll start the ball rolling: Tubmail is based on a particularly notorious image known as ‘tubgirl’, which is of an Asian woman defecating on herself. If you look at the dot on the i in the logo, it’s a tiny bum. Fun Fact: Some members of the Forumwarz team used to have a guild called Tubgirl in the World of Warcraft. Hehe, second person to post in all the forums ^_^
The sTalk contact Anonymous was most likely based on the inhabitants of www.4chan.org, an American Image board with virtually no restrictions… Also, the Crazy guy, Futanari… Japanese, what else can i say? Cutiepie, Online Pedophile, obvious enough… And since my Forum Visits are done for today, I can’t continue with Plot.. Sucks, but it’ll work in the Long run. |

not really an internet reference, and also extremely obvious but
Shallow Esophagus is a reference to “deep throat” the code name for the informant to the Nixon Watergate scandal. also a porno, so I guess it does have something to do with the internet. |

Now this isn’t necessarily an internet based reference, but can anyone name the reference for the term “Re-Re”? I mean, luckily it’s pretty easy to figure out what it means (thank you dkal and your everyday run-of-the-mill head shot).. but it is actually from something. |
