M_T here btw, Herons is an underground meme that gets its 15 minutes of fame every 6 months or so. The fame is derived of the poor spelling, the spam e-mails of yore, and the sheer madness that a heron would make a mess of your pots and pans over an e-mail. Kaiser spam, while original, boiled down to “hurr I can misquote to derail a thread” and nailbomb boiled down to “hurr I can copy Derkaiserreich”

tl;dr: herons will fade once people stop caring about them, just as all these threads about ****ty memes fade once we forget the posters
