Please help, I think my cat is dying.

I need any real suggestions on what I can possibly do for my cat. I am god-honest broke and can’t take her to a vet. She started not eating or drinking and this has persisted for over 3 days. She is listless and only wants to lay in her bed. Her breathing is abnormally heavy, but shows no signs of rasping or gurgling. Healthy ear and teeth coloration. I can’t be home all the time so I don’t know if she is urinating and having regular bowel movements. I have gotten 0 responses from veterinary forums other than, “Take her to a vet,” which is not an option despite how much I would like it to be. Please, I love my cat and am willing to take any real advice. |

Find a vet that will let you make payments. You are not going to be able to fix that yourself. When your cat isn’t eating or drinking, it’s a real emergency and time to find a way to get a professional involved. Also, you can see if a vet accepts CareCredit. http://www.carecredit.com/ |

Thank you both, I just double checked with the nearest Emergency Vet and they do accept CareCredit, tyvm plk. I need to get ready to leave to the vet. Good night and thank you so much. |

The real advice is to take her to the vet. Try your regular vet first to see if they will consider some sort of payment plan. If they won’t, call around. Explain the situation and ask if there is any way they will accept time payments. Odds are you will find one that is willing, after all most vets go into practice because they love animals.
Hope it ends up being nothing to worry about.

D-Blund – have them check for obstructions and stuff, if they fixate on failure they might skip out on the rest. Check bowel obstructions and ingested things imo. |
