I understand that it makes it easier to publish new forums the way it is now, but it makes the styles all look like carbon copies. We need more easy options and/or the ability to just submit straight CSS.

I don’t really see the reason behind changing forums that have been working just fine for over a year.

Also I’d like to add Terra Online, Gamefabulous personS, Dolphin Love and FAP to the list of forums that used to look amazing.

I didn’t actually think I’d care that much but I have to agree. None of these forums look better and some of them definitely look worse than they used to.

The broken CSS was affecting things I wanted to display for the gameplay enhancements.

I’d fixed it for the current stuff a forum was displaying, but new elements weren’t working. The old system depended on very specific elements being in place. The new one allows me to change the layout and add things without fear of breaking.

I agree some are a little more bland, but I’m happier that they work and don’t glitch and that it allows me to extend the game in the future. Like I said eventually we’ll give styles more options to get more variety.

The problem we have then is with the timing. We get the downside now, and we have to wait, potentially a long while, to see the upside. I hope it’s worth the wait, because some of the forums I previously enjoyed running are now boring as hell, and that’s not something to be underestimated when we’re already battling with tired game mechanics.
