I just spent 12 Forum Visits, and ended up acquiring 3 Vanilla Scoops. (By holding 4 Forums, 3 times for 1 Vanilla Scoop each)
Is it just me, or is the solo Vanilla Scoops a bit lacking? They are quite hard to get, and not much of a reward. If it was NOT possible to switcharoo or Modest Improvement scoops into a Scoop Area that you have 0 in, then it wouldn’t be so bad of a reward. But as it stands, it is much easier to go for Lemons or Pistachios, then to go for Vanilla’s, when going Solo. Klan-wise, Vanilla’s rock.
I would propose, to make Solo-Vanilla’s harder to get.
IE: 6 Forums instead of 4 Forums to get Vanilla Scoops, but you get 3 Vanilla Scoops.
Or a better proposition, would be to make Modest Improvement and Switcheroo cards, so that they cannot be used to get scoops in an area that you have 0 in.

Easier to get than the other flavors? Not at all.
Antifreeze: Either get lucky with the gamble-bot or kill yourself a couple of times. Not difficult, although not efficient unless you’re really lucky gamble-botting. Chocolate: Contribute to ForumBuildr. All it takes is a lil’ creativity. Lemon: Only difficult if your connection bites. Pistachio: Not difficult, just gotta have a lil’ variation in your gameplay.

This was being discussed in the thread Lust linked, but that thread mainly derailed into the klan aspect of vanilla. I can’t see increasing the number of forums needed (to balance an increase in reward) as a reasonable long term fix. As the player base grows it will become more and more difficult to hold a forum for any amount of time. |

If anything, they need to be changed so they’re less dependent on when you play the game.
I mean, you earn 1 vanilla from beating 4 forums at the same time (which is nearly impossible at some times of day.) You earn 1 pistachio from beating 4 forums in a row. Seems… equal. |

Okay. Show me how it’s done. Get 4 or 5 vanilla scoops solo this round of Domination, or take your ‘lrn2play’ **** and stuff it right back up your bum. |
