Awesome. Some people (mostly Gamespot forum users, so hey, we’re not talking geniuses here) are calling this a rehash, but frankly I’m happy to give Nintendo money if this game’s gonna be on par with Galaxy. I wish Ninty had announced a revival of Pikmin or Kid Icarus (or even a new franchise), but this and Metroid: OM will keep dust off my system for a bit Log in to see images! |

I heard something about Pikmin for the Wii about a month ago. |

Personall, I found Galaxy extremely overrated. It was a good game, but I just didn’t get the “Woah awesome” feeling I got from Mario 64.
And I really wish they ditched the space athmosphere (no pun intended), it got pretty stale in the first Galaxy.
That said, I hope this will be the mindblowing game Galaxy 1 never was for me. |

I understand that, ebcause Mario 64 was the first 3D experience ever. Personally, I liked Super Mario Sunshine best. It had a vacation like atmosphere and interesting game elements with that little backpack. |

Because you are hanging onto the past imo. Kinda how people hang onto OOT saying it’s the best game ever and no zelda matches up ECT ECT.
As said in another place, I think it will be great. They are keeping the same great machainic and just adding onto it. Will buy.(even though I haven’t had the chance to bear the first one since my Wii broke).

I wasn’t super excited for galaxy when it came out. However, I very quickly found myself completely enthralled.
Jumping from planet to planet just when one got boring was fantastic. It was probably my game of the year that year. |

SMG2 looks awesome with Yoshi. Who doesn’t want to fly with Yoshi by using farts? |

I didn’t understand why people liked Galaxy so much. I had it, and it was interesting for a while, but wasn’t all that interesting. Besides I had no desire to get all the stars… the reward seems rather lame. Especially if you want to complete it 100% you’d have to get every single star again. Is that what makes a game fun? Super Mario 64, I bothered to get all 120 (I think that was the number) stars. Wasn’t all that hard. But lately I haven’t been playing my games. |
