Question about completeness — does one have a better chance if they transcribe more than the 5 minutes? (I know it was intended for only 5 minute sections, but was just curious.)

Since in the original contest post I said “a” five-minute section, I can’t retroactively go back and suddenly give people lots more chances or BP if they did more than that right before the deadline closed. If there’s good quality and formatting, however, yes, it’d improve your chances because there’d be more content for me to see was well-formatted and not a fluke; and part of this was to find people to transcribe any upcoming Podcasts.

I’m doing my best to be fair and find a way to reward everyone for their effort. I’ll do my best.

in that case, i’ll just make 22:24 – 29:51 one long 7:27 section instead of two 3.5 minute sections

it simplifies everyone’s life.

my fingers hurt from the typing, and i don’t have the most comfortable headphones. i blame my comp for not being able to load mp3 files till today

Sorry, dude. When I recorded this, I didn’t think anyone would ever have to transcribe it! You should’ve seen the original version, before I made big-bum cuts.

Back in school, I used to have to ‘scribe hours of this kind of ****, and it was even more mundane and disorganized. This just proves my theory that transcribing = hell.
