I had 12 submissions last week, six of them were positive, three hit bottom, and two made it into the forum. So, I ended up with +1 and  1,000.

I don’t really like how buildr works right now, it’s much easier to get a negative score even with good entries.

Is it really? While it’s certainly easy to submit a successful thread title, the “forum” and “avatar” categories are tough crowds. My view is entries in all the categories are essential to avoid competing against one’s own entries, but even after something like seven or eight rounds I’ve yet to have a single successful avatar entry. Most of my -5’s come from those, and even with 1-3 entries that’s enough to submarine my whole score.

After 43 weeks of submitting entries, I’ve got +2 a total of 42 times and +1 once.

That takes my grand total points score to 85, equaling the recently semi-retired Blu3. I’m also catching up on plk, who is presumably letting her score drop intentionally.

I’ll be honest, I’m a little burnt out from FW and from Builr – it’s been a few months since I submitted every single one of my entries and I’m generally only submitting between 10 and 20 most weeks now.

EDIT: allow me to rephrase that, the wat was a statement of amazement at your action Grayson.

Nope.

I had 6 (or maybe 7, hard to tell with the forum not published) angry replies go through (yay new peen!), 3 entries at -5, a few more at other negs and other positives and even possibly one zero, and I didn’t use all my submissions. And my score went up 2.

no. i had 20 subs between +1 and +5 and one sub at -1. Only one submission got into the forum. I got +2.
