I got invited to a huge LARPing event

For those of you who are blessed enough to not know, LARPing is Live Action Role Playing, which basically means a bunch of nerds running around pretending to be their World of Warcraft or Dungeons and Dragons character, although it can be extended to anything you’d like.
It actually looks pretty well planned though. It’s a battle of four opposing factions for the land of Learia, and you can read all about it here: http://www.myspace.com/larplearia
If any of you are gonna be in Jacksonville June 6th-7th, you should totally do it and take pictures.
Also lol at people bumuming that I would be interested in going to a LARP event and inviting me

I LARPed years and years ago, mainly because it was easy to score chicks when your only competition was Milton the 12th Level Ogre. Log in to see images!

Never go to a LARP in Tucson. I’ve only been to two, and that was enough. Those “cute chicks” Cid speaks of have never been seen by these ol’ peepers. Unless he has really, really low standards and is also a chubby chaser on top of that.

However, even with the hot chicks, there was abnormally high incidence of goth/emo/TOTAL MOTHER****ING NUTJOB. Also, when they want to “roleplay” with you after hours, you’ll want to double-up on the jimmy hats (as I’m told the kids call them these days), cuz, damn, those girls get around. Consider: They are, by definition, intending to mess around with gamer guys. Something about them has to be flawed. Just don’t tell my girlfriend I said any of this. We met at a game.
