I’m doing a project for my sociolinguistics clbum and our topic is the language of mmorpgs. Specifically gender differences. What I’d like to know from you
1. If you think women talk like men (swear a lot, make crude sexual references, etc) in order to gain clout on the internet. 2. Why you think this is. 3. Which MMOs you play, if any. 4. Your gender 5. If I may quote you in my paper.

Becuase that’s how anyone would, one shouldn’t have to change who they are. 3. Which MMOs you play, if any. I CURRENTLY don’t play any mmos. But I’ve played Ragnarok Online for 2 years, WoW(private server) for 3 months, and basically all the mmos out there for atleast a month. 4. Your gender Male. 5. If I may quote you in my paper. 3. Which MMOs you play, if any. I play Battlefield Heroes. And I’ve played Guild Wars for a while. And Dofus. And Runescape, of course. And a lot of other MMOs.

1/2. The internet is racist and sexist. Once a woman is known to exist others generally don’t think the same of that person. Their thoughts are softer of that person. Of course, such is not the case with friends. But online everyone isn’t your friend.
