Space I think Totoro means that pre-bug they had 10 visits. Due to being stuck in forum, they couldn’t burn the extra 2, so at rollover they only got 2. They want to be at a total of 15, not get 15 extra. Log in to see images!

Totoro: I did add the note. When ET awards the visits, hell make that particular call, but you’ll definitely get the 5.

Yeah, this didn’t have an impact on me, but man. Is it really horribly hard to fix lost streaks? A potential 25 days worth of visit planning is way beyond frustrating. A streak broken anywhere in the final 20 or so forums is likely going to cost Domination medals. Log in to see images!

He didn’t say he wasn’t going to try. He said he can’t. Big difference. If I know ET (and I don’t mean in the biblical sense), he’s already done the best he can. Unfortunately, bugs happen. At least he’s willing to give you an extra set of visits, that’s a pretty huge advantage if you use them strategically (IMO).

You played this game for 4 weeks and your time was wasted, so as compensation, here’s another days worth of visits so you can play the game some more!

I’d rather have a better apology, which would include some clue that ET fully appreciates how much of a problem this is for affected players. And then I’d like to know that he’s going to be doing things to address the problem fully – better logging or more robust calculations so he can in future verify broken streak claims, a bug fix, and balance changes for dom so we’re not in the situation again where a bug can waste 4 weeks of effort in an instant (not to mention the other 4 weeks to build up to the same point again, bringing us to 8 ****ing weeks in total) Some dawning of an understanding of the insane hoops we have to jump through to play this game would be greatly appreciated.

Heh, same here. I avoid new forums if possible. But imo the main problem isn’t that streaks can’t be fixed but that they are indispensable for playing dom in the higher brackets. I’ve said it months ago, pistachio streaks should be nerfed so that it’s possible to play every week and not just every third of fourth week when you have a high streak again.

I wouldn’t mind at least knowing that ET remembers that this happened this time, so that the exact same thing won’t happen with the next new forum.

I still haven’t got my extra visits yet, does that mean that forum is still buggy?

So if my alt who was affected is holding 12 visits when this happens will the alt end up with more than 12 visits or should I be planning to burn some visits now? I do NOT want to end up losing visits overall!
