Actually I do, and i find it rather redundant in the usage it receives here as opposed ot the chans from whence the phrase originated.

the basic idea, is that when you add sage to your post, it will add your comment to the thread without bumping it. So any use here is just “ironic”

Most people on 4chan who say sage are very special and don’t understand that its just not bumping a thread, that it doesn’t lower it.
