I’m not sure I like the idea of choosing your hour, unless we have some sort of limit. We could end up with clumps, which would partially defeat the point of this. I’d rather see something where we can choose a span of some number of hours and then semi-random within those bounds.

I don’t see random rollovers being an issue to me. I don’t even hit this site until about noon when I’m on my lunch break. Also in a weird way it’d be nice to have different hours that I could play.

Right now I’m used to wasting all my forum visits on my lunch break. It’d be nice every once in a while to have to wait until I come home and waste my time later in the day.

Hehe, I actually logged the extra two forum visits as a bug, thinking that the repeated error messages this morning might have had something to do with my visits not being recorded properly. I’m glad it wasn’t a bug though and thank you for those extra visits.

As to the topic at hand, a random rollover time works for me.

I like it. I like the idea of choosing rollover as well, but won’t complain if it’s just random.

For me the rollover happens around 10pm, so that’s a pretty decent time for my playing schedule, but you gotta do what’s best for the game. I say go for it.

that would probably fix the problem. I don’t think people are gonna stop visiting at 7, (or in my case 9 EST,) because we have that routine where we hunker down and cash out junk, and spend spend spend our visits…

but its a good idea to separate that from the time when servers are cranking out the algorithms.

well deliveries happen at rollover too.

so randomizing rollover would randomize deliveries.
