I spent some time today upgrading our BBCode parser. There are a bunch of new tags that work. Note that you should avoid making your posts in civil discussion hideous. We don’t have formal rules yet about the new tags, so just use your best judgment as to what is annoying to look at or not.
Okay, now the new stuff.
Font Sizes! Font Sizes! Font Sizes!
You can use the [size=xx] tag to do this, where xx is a number between 8 and 30.
Font Colors Font Colors.
To use colors, the code is [color=xx] where xx is brown, maroon, red, orange, yellow, olive, lime, green, teal, aqua, blue, navy, purple, fuchsia, gray, silver, white or black.

You can now also center text
This uses the predictable [center]text[/center] tag

Nice feature, but this is going to be heavily abused everywhere. Though it will make the layouts of contests look slightly better if done well. |

Also you might want to check what words actually filter to what color on the color tag, because I was playing with it and:
orange = red red = maroon yellow = orange etc. |

By the way, the Post Preview doesn’t show the colors at all. Red And the sizes don’t preview properly either. Size 8 test Size 10 test Size 12 test Size 14 test Size 16 test Size 18 test Size 20 test Size 25 test Size 30 test
