Ok, I feel like a RE-RE for asking this, but it is bugging the crap outta me.

Why will this sub-forum not let me attack. All it keeps saying is a pop up window saying : “Are you trying to hack us? If so, please don’t.”
Wtf, do I do. |

This shouldn’t happen. Your session may have timed out. You should just leave the forum, and if there is no sign that the game thinks you have beaten the forum, you will have to go through Paranoid Panorama (the regular one) again. Please also note that you can only beat RoTM once; afterwards, it is permanently locked. |

The thing is, I have not beat ROTM. Only beaten the main forum. I logged out and tried it again. Still doing the same thing….. |

If you don’t make the first attack on the sub-forum fairly quickly after leaving the main forum it does that. I had it happen to me a few times. If you are stuck there, try pwning a different forum then going back. |

I just thought of another possibility:
Replay the IDC chat which gives you the mission. Maybe some trigger didn’t finish firing.
Let me know the results of this (and of not delaying, as Wylin says) and I’ll bump to ET if remains a problem. |

I will pwn a new thread tomorrow and see if that fixes it before I try once more. odd thing is tho I was clicking into an attack within the first 20 seconds of getting into the forum.
Don’t see how it is not a bug if the situation is repeatable in different users. But, o well, try again another day lol.

Also I should point out that if you haven’t finished the mission yet and link yourself directly to the forum through the wiki, you get the same error. |

Well the workaround works. Had to pwn a forum, before going onto Paranoid Panorama and into ROTM. |

Well, seems I’m having the same issue.
Been on vacation for a week and when I returned I had a lot of forum visits. Used about 9 of them until getting to Paranoid Panorama. The subforum gave me the “Please don’t hack us” message (although I did not take 2 minutes until my first move).
The workaround, however does not work for me. Any time I now try to go to any forum I get another message:

Weird, we didn’t expect that! Either you’ve found a bug in our game, or you’re trying to hack it.
If you are trying to hack us, please don’t. Games are meant to be fun, not spoiled or taken advantage of.

Now, I’m pretty stuck. Should I bug report this or is there another workaround? Seems the issue is provoked either by the forum not using one of the of the daily visits or by getting there when you have more than 4 daily visits. Somehow it believes I’m trying to cheat.

I meant if you click it quickly, because someone in this thread said it’s time based (if you don’t attack ROTM fast enough, you can’t do it). |
