I think the correct solution in this case is to not publish the item.
I mean, is anybody going to miss not getting another itembuildr piercing? If people strongly dislike all of the ideas, why bother making the item at all? |

People apparently did not like the *images.* The voters, however, already selected the item itself, and it seems so far as if it’ll get text, too.
With that in mind, I don’t see reason to throw the entire item away simply because an image wasn’t selected. I’m sure one of the adminny types can simply go through the last 10 or so images submitted, do a quick skim to see if any are or may be copyrighted, and select whatever the hell he wants in such a situation.
That way, the author of the item idea and text, as well as the effort and opinion of their respective voters, aren’t simply tossed for lack of a tiny little image. |

Oh ****, this is awesome. Not only is it funny as hell, and will force Trout to rethink the Itembuildr voting process (REMOVE DOWN-VOTING Mod Edit: Trolling text removed), but it’s even more evidence that Itembuildr sucks (on top of bad-ideas beating good ideas, “Complete Set of DRAGINZballs” being broken as hell, etc.). ROFL! I sub’d an image, so now we know there were at least 2 images submitted. Downvoting should totally be eliminated from itembuildr (and forumbuildr too but that’s for another thread) and this situation emphasizes that. |

I was sorta watching the image voting process since I had some small vested interest in the outcome.
There were 19 images submitted and uh I thought more then a few of them were very good. I was incredibly amused when I came back an hour later and saw that they were all gone. |
