I’ll take the occasional error as things get settled into, if it means I can actually list auctions when I try to list them the other 99% of the time.

Same. It was clear sailing not long after it was up and running for a short period, but since then it’s at least as bad as it was before.

It normally takes me some time to tune a server once it’s been deployed. It’s been less than a week!

I got a new queuing strategy in place. It’s still not perfect, but it’s better.

In the last 30 minutes the longest a request has been delayed is 5 seconds (previously I saw one at 25!)

I want to update some ruby code too, but unfortunately github is down Log in to see images!

Weird, I’ve been profiling the site every second and haven’t gotten a 503 error since my last update. I’ll definitely keep a close eye on it though.

The forums were faster a while and now not really. I dont care about other features.

For those not following Twitter, today I managed to find a configuration that seems very stable and fast. Since about 4:30PM we’ve had hardly any lag!

Hopefully it’ll stay up. If not, don’t worry I’ve got my eye on it!

I just didn’t feel like getting in line for the circle jerk. I must say, though, that things are a lot better. I am glad my brownie point money is not going to waste.

There were some 503 errors, but overall the new server works great for me, even on Wednesday when dom was about to end everything seemed in order.
