I could see this as a good way to limit access for newer players, although the flezz costs may already prevent the unbalancing aspect. But only if a fairly low score was required.

I’m thinking downvoting should probably be removed from Itembuildr, at least, since — unlike Forumbuildr — all the submissions go up at once and everyone gets downvote-happy. Reaching certain upvote thresholds to remain on the board might work; people couldn’t sabotage a particular item, but the really crappy ones would disappear after a while. But maybe that’s too complicated.
