Hmm, so we start at 0 votes? So, unlike ForumBuildr, we don’t get the presumptive self-vote? Do we then get the opportunity to self-upvote?

Using a meme does not automatically make something **** (unless, of course, it mentions babbies or accidentally a whole something-or-other). Of course, since even I didn’t like my file name, I can’t say I’m surprised that it got downvoted despite my belief that the description was reasonably funny. I’m a joke man, not an idea man. |

Ugh. We really should do something about this “-5 = Auto Death” for a submission, especially when we only get one chance at it. At 3 p.m. Eastern time, there’s a lot of opportunity for ‘Team Downvoting’ to kill a lot of competition and upvote a lot of their own stuff. It’s much more exploitable than ForumBuildr, where you have a week to find your ‘niche audience’ to at least have a shot at getting enough positive votes to whether the ‘Storm of Trolls’ that attempts to downvote everybody. |

Don’t not investigate. But I think if it were fraud, the currently-winning entry would have a lot more votes, and wouldn’t be so good.
What would be interesting would be a report of all voting users, and what their upvote/downvote numbers are, sorted by downvotes from most to fewest. And another one comparing ((upvotes minus downvotes) divided by total votes). |

Suggestion: Players can only make a number of votes equal to their Buildr Score . (Pbum Votes don’t count) If your buildr score is 40, then you get 40 Upvotes and 40 Downvotes. If your buildr score is 10, then you get 10 Upvotes and 10 Downvotes. If your buildr score is 1(or less), then you get 1 Upvote and 1 Downvote.
This way, your impact on the system is based upon your contribution into the system.
Quality submitters should have a stronger voice in determining the quality of incoming submissions. |

I like this idea, but that’s not very many votes if there were like the 260 entries there were or something.
Maybe the number of your votes could be a function of your score, increasing exponentially maybe? |
