What do you mean? Unequippable items have no effect on your stats. They just sit in your inventory. |

No dear. Only hackers can equip hardware. Hardware is not an option with emo’s. Like lingerie would sit in that unequippable slot if you were any other clbum than camwhore. |

Yup exactly. If you were to get them as a delivery (hardware sometimes comes with deliveries) you can sell it at Kyoubai. |

Really? I’ve never seen that. Sounds like a bug to me.
Oh, and Reco, some items are Unequippable until you complete a certain part of the game, or until you buy the item from Kyoubai. Books & Surgical Procedures, for example, are only available in Episode Two, but if you buy them in Kyoubai, they immediately become equippable items.
My own EmoKid has also been sitting on a pair of Versnatches for about 4 months, hoping that it will eventually be a usable item for that clbum. |

I made the same mistake as the OP, luckily on a lower-end item. That’s when the jumble of letters that make up ‘unequippable’ actually started to mean something.

I don’t remember if it’s feasible to have that much money available in Episode 1 to buy a Surgical Procedures, but the Hacker book that gives +5 Offense sure would be helpful, and it usually lists for 20K or less. |
