Also bear in mind that you are rewarding bad behavior with an idea like this. It would be no small honor to be the first flamebate poster to have a forum named after you, even if it’s an insult, and I don’t think Bashy particularly deserves this honor.

Plk’s been doing this for well over a year; I’ve been doing FormBuildr in earnest for 5 weeks. I heard male reproductive organbum doesn’t play anymore. Plk would be glad to help you, I’m sure. I wouldn’t.

As for bad behavior? I’m sorry it’s such bad behavior to have the winning threads. I should clearly be punished. You and Shii, however, should be rewarded for getting away with trolling and insulting someone on a non-RP forum.

I understand your frustration and the frustration of others. I know that the two entries that won were, thematically, pedestrian, but I don’t agree that the writing behind it was.

If I am able, I play to either win or amuse myself. In order to do that, I take a look at the people voting in this democracy. So far, my strategy has done pretty well, as has the style of writing.

I don’t understand why I’m singled out, when almost every single other ForumBuildr forum is equally uninspired and often poorly written. Half are based on memes, more are pop culture, etc. This is a game for memes and pop culture. What do you expect?

If you do not like the results of a democracy, either adjust your expectations or move to one whose voters better result in that which you desire. Laying blame and hating the population, in my experience, is an exercise in either futility or selfishness, or both.

As such, I understand that the same reasons that have led my forums to win are the same reasons I’m here being yelled at by angry sorts who take things very, very seriously. I understand it’s pointless to complain or try to argue my perspective. So, I won’t bother.

It’s just not much of a deal at all to me. I’ve said my piece, and now I’m moving on.

Remember your not writing for what you think is funny, your writing for the site. Bashy’s submissions suck balls, in my opinion, but the site likes them. ****ing will do nothing, change t suit your audience.

If you have to win by pandering to the LCD, then explain the legitimately funny submissions that DO win? No need to take the low road, good submissions CAN actually win in Buildr, even if they are often defeated by meme-regurgitating, pandering garbage like the kind Bashy used to win.
