Question about random hitters | |||||||

like bumholes and shotguns. Say a guy has 10 scoops in each flavour except vanilla which he had 100. What are the chances that a shotgun hits a vanilla? Is it 100 out of 140 (5/7)? or 1 out of 5?
Times two of course because shotgun hits twice. |

Its more likely to hit the vanilla. The card picks random scoops, it does not just pick random categories.
The way it works is it looks at all you scoops at the same time. So imagine all 110 scoops theoretical scoops lined up in a random order. The shotgun card will pick two random scoops from that whole pile, so of course it has a bigger chance to take out the vanilla.
At least, that has been my experience with it, and I’ve used a lot of them before. Adapt edited this message on 01/28/2009 11:51PM |

I was just thinking about this question today before domination ended.
So it’s a (1/X) chance instead of a (1/5) chance (where “X” is the total amount of scoops)? |
