It’s just a popular internet joke to post “This post requires a [FORUM NAME] Gold/Platinum/etc. Account to View”, there aren’t any Gold accounts on Forumwarz (YET. Because Evil Trout is a money Nazi who wants to charge us for Ep2 Log in to see images! ). I told the guy who posted that page that it broke the rules of the Spoilerpedia, but he ignored me.

I’d not call it a fad, I’d just call it an inevitable joke, like saying Microsoft has bought out your favorite website this week. Quite frankly, too many websites in my opinion have stupid GOLD accounts that give you just a few extra bonus features for an overpriced charge. I actually found the wiki pages kinda funny considering the sane donation tactics ForumWarz has employed. |
