If it’s already on the front page, then there’s no need for a bump. If you bump it after an hour, that too is no need. If it rolls back to say, page 2, then I would say it’s perfectly legit to bump.
Bumping too many times or bumping every, say, hour, is considered spam and pretty much annoying. If you were able to bump every 10 minutes, other people would do it too. That’s why ‘bumping’ is always used sparingly.

I bump my own threads there. About once every four hours. A little more frequently as the auction end time approaches. But not every 4 minutes. It’s a non-RP forum.

There you go, case closed. Some ****bags here really need to stop trolling and making stupid comments when someone is saying something serious. It’s fun to an extent, but when it becomes a daily every single minute bull**** comment thing, it just makes you look stupid, and this is the ****ing internet. What does that make you in real life? A person bagging my groceries at Giant because they failed college and working a dead end job making minimum wage? Probably.
