How is Cred calculated?

Is the dificulty of the forum factored in? Ego Damage recieved? Damage done? Secondary attribute spent? Abilities used?

I could be wrong, but Cred appears to work the way that Experience Points do in your typical RPG. The harder the forum, the more cred everything’s worth, with a little bit of randomness thrown in. |

It seems like the more turns you take beating a forum the less experience you get. That might just be perception.. But the green bar seems to grow faster if you totally blast away the forum vs a tooth and nail battle. |
