I have strong reasons to believe Hitchhiker's got illegal multis on it.

I looked into it deeply.
There is no evidence that the votes have been tampered with. There is a good spread of IP addresses and accounts. No particular klan seems to be voting it up like crazy either.
If there’s organized upvoting involved, it’s across klans without using illegal alts.
One thing worth mentioning is we’ve added over 15k users in the last few weeks, the higher voting might just be them getting around to playing with ForumBuildr. |

I think we’re seeing somewhat of an effect from the whole FiF situation and people are voting more because of it. And HGI is the kind of sub that has a broad appeal without being yet another (gay) sex joke. We’ve had worse than this imo. |

Tell me how the average page of 4chan differs from the description of this idea.
Pichan was the same except maths. This will just be 4chan with more Hitchhiker’s humor.
This week is filled with ****ty entries. Ms. Kearney’s 9th grade forum? Unique, possibly witty, but more likely to just be filled with profanity and other stupid ****. Alcoholics Unanimous is an old, old submission, but probably has potential. FRAN IS FAT lol, bad idea I am ashamed I ever came up with it in the first place. |

Based on what I’ve heard, however, the quality of content from the original source material (i.e., the works of Douglas Adams versus crappy internet porn), I’ll go out on a limb and support the HGI over a 4chan clone.

I am the instigator of Hitchhiker’s. I swear to you that if there was shenanigans going on, I would have known about it. Hell, I Upvoted alot of the other ideas. I originally thought it had something to do with how there have been little to no beginners forums being used in forumbuilder but now that it’s upto ****ing 100 votes in less than two days I am not sure…
