The most valuable ones – those who actually inspire enthusiasm in other players – are the biggest losses. The crunchies really ****ed up the process with the nominations. Not only did they take 2 weeks longer than they said they were, no explanation was given.
When people posted comments asking about it, they were deleted.
Other people pointed out that the total amount of votes for an entry was not the sole criteria they used. So something like Forumwarz might have been in the top 5, but they hand picked them anyway. When asked about this process, and whether people could see tallies of the popular votes, their comments were also deleted.
I’m not saying they fixed it and that Forumwarz should have won, but that they handled it really poorly and some fishy things are definitely going on:
