To offset the advantage hackers have of being able to equip 4 pieces of equipment.
Also, Ep2 does not give hackers a new store.
Please, no one turn this into a “hackers are way too nerfed” thread; we have enough of those already. Keep this one informational. |

DG-Root, unfortunately I believe the very useful prosthetic finger implant is an Ep. 2 exclusive, which means you’re going to need to sacrifice some offense to get a PP upping hardware or two. There are some easier to get moar-files which up PP also, so you should check out the wiki page to see which you’re able to obtain. Besides that, just keep a stock of cheap PP restoratives on you at all times.

Without devoting a single piece of hardware to it, I have 355 processing power, which is more than enough unless you spam avtr way too much. Just the book (ep II exclusive), the implant (also ep II exclusive) and a couple of .moars. (Riprogrammatori is amazing, be sure to pick it up while grinding HOFF).
New computers would be nice, as I believe everybody’s been toting the pruneserv for a while, but they really aren’t needed for processing power. Possibly a Cabbage edited this message on 12/19/2008 3:29PM |

People without Ep. 2 are sort of screwed, though. No implant and no book, so unless they have a badbum set of moar files they’re going to need some PP upping hardware. |

It’s not too much of a problem, as someone whom hovers around the job listings as a guide of what to pwn and what not to pwn. A high offense can get a lot done with little PP, that and stopping to patch myself up significantly is expensive so I avoided that earlier in the game. Nothing major, it just seemed confusing. (Or like a tongue-in-cheek joke Log in to see images! |

Hackers are NOT underpowered, but I’ll concede that they have it a bit rougher in Ep1 than the other clbumes. |
