Petition to Fix bumholes

Right now, if two people are tied with max scoops, the player whose name comes first in the alphabet will be the target for bumhole cards. This is annoying if you are tied with someone else and you wan’t to use bumhole, but you can’t. So why not let people pick the target when there are ties?

It should kill 6 of each…it would make it more risky to stay tied. It could really screw up some people trying to tie for medals. Log in to see images! |

Easy Fix: In case of max scoop ties, give you an option of choosing who you want to shoot the bumhole at.
1 bumhole attacking 2 people at once is dumb, period. |

If the player with the name that comes last alphabetically is the least likely to be targeted by bumholes in a tie situation, then that player has a very minor advantage in Domination.
Very Minor.

Everybody should be available to get bumhole’d.
If the target has less than 6 then all their scoops are simply gone.
The “bumhole the leader” strategy and methods are obsolete, time to broaden the scope. |

what if bumhole had a random chance of picking anyone in the lead for max/fave/minimum?
as a bonus, this makes the bumhole card emphasis on bumholery for the sake of bumholery, and reduces the “vendetta factor” so to speak (which can still be filled with scoop-inefficient shotguns/destroyers)
edit: on second thought, that would reduce the strategic quality of bumhole, so i guess a compromise would be to pick between the leaders. Bigandtasty edited this message on 12/30/2008 5:37AM |

The bumhole card is fine. If you don’t want to be tied with someone then use a shotgun or similar targeted cards. |

i made a thread a while back about bumholes only taking 6 scoops, i think it was a terrible nerf. 4 scoops just so i can get rid of 2 extra scoops over the cost, off of the leader? man, i hit one huy with so many bumholes and it barely fazed em. bumholes are far too weak, i said it before and i’ll say it again.
