Ohai flamebate. I’m a newfabulous person (see title under avy).
I was wondering, how much coding would be involved in upgrading gamble-bot to offer new options in blackjack.
-Split -Insurance -Surrender
Those are all options that most casinos offer for blackjack IRL. Which of them are realistic for forumwarz? Which are not, and why?
We could have creative ways of using them. For example, you could have the possibility of winning a scoop by splitting (two hands would be like two games). There are probably plenty of other ways to incoporate forumwarz stuff into those options, if getting them is realistic in the firstplace.
What do you think, flamebate?

Lesson 1: What Is Surrender?
“Surrender” is a lesser-known play option in blackjack, which is not offered in every game. Surrender allows a player to fold their hand at the cost of half the original bet. If you originally bet $10, a surrender would cost you $5 out of that $10. The decision to surrender must be made prior to any other action. Once you draw, split or double down then surrender is no longer available as an option. There are two types of surrender, early and late. The difference between the types is only in the way that a dealer blackjack is handled. In an early surrender, a player may choose to surrender before the dealer checks his hand for a blackjack. The early surrender is rarely offered because is can give the player a nice advantage. In the late surrender, the dealer first checks for blackjack. Surrender is only then available if the dealer does not have a blackjack. Learning to use the surrender option can be very valuable in the right situation. |

Never saw Surrender anywhere. I guess it’s not allowed e.g. in Monaco or German casinos? Therefore please consider my vote to all three to be not valid, instead I want split and insurance to be included. |

Insurance would be great, It’s quite annoying when Gamble-Bot deals himself a blackjack (w/ ace showing). Splits, also a good idea, could help obtain anti-freeze scoops/ drain flezz faster. I’ve never heard of the Surrender option though… |

poll options get sorted to alphabetic (i think) order when submitted. Nobody knows why.
Overall the ideas are pretty good. Sort of odd that it didn’t have split from the get-go. |

Hold’em rooms, multiplayer like incit. Bet flezz against each other, divy out scoops to winners. |

Splitting (done correctly) favours the player. Insurance and surrender are both sucker bets which increase the house win. |
