You’re gonna need a lot more than 600 ego after the forums just got buffed. Naturally, don’t bother wasting the few upgrade points on text attacks, and don’t spend anything on douchebaggery since you get all that from your items. Dump a lot into offense, a little into defense. Other than that, upgrading frugality, upkeep, and luck is helpful, but doesn’t seem necessary. I’m going with 1480 ego right now, and I still have to use a pill or two on the hardest forums, so don’t be afraid to dump a good bit of upgrade points into your ego.

Currently, I have enough douchebaggery and consumes to cover it in any forum. What’s a respectable amount of upkeep now that I’m taking shots like 50 Cent? I’m grinding for exp and if I hop onto a weaker forum for a vaster reward, then I lose out on Cred. Want to stretch every bit of scratch I have and not cripple myself in the process. |

Endedrural Posted: Maybe you don’t have the right equipment sets. I have 80 defense (from equipments only) and I only take about 500 dmg total from a battle. Putting it to 600 just in case they make them harder. |
