Live Rickroll - maybe the end finally?

During today’s New York City Thanksgiving Parade, Rick Astley performed a live Rickroll on national T.V., interrupting a song by actors dressed as characters from “Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends”. Can anything that has become this mainstream last much longer? (Hopefully not) |

I can’t see the correlation between “it’s so mainstream” and “it can’t last much longer” at all! If anything it’s become a part of everyday life now. Now nobody can say they don’t know what rickrolling is, and it’s universally hilarious! Log in to see images! |

BirdofPrey Posted: It wasn’t funny, but it was certainly shocking to see it happen during the parade, and especially on the Foster’s Home float. I can understand finding it irritating if you found out after the fact, but was definitely a HOLY **** moment to see it come out of nowhere on television.
And the Rickroll was mainstream long before this happend. They did it on Family Guy and The Soup, and I’ve seen this shirt in the window display at Hot Topic. |
