i have a couple of screenshots from the final battle as well but there’s little to see.

just the action bar filled with consumables, me doing very little damage and g! doing a whole lot more.

final visit took me over 90 minutes.

It is ****ing cool.

I think the screenshots which could prove it to any doubters would be showing your Upgrades tab, and also sTalking with Haxl to show that you hadn’t used him, by showing either you didn’t add him, or that a dialog with him starts with his introduction (as compared to the “Are you sure you want to go through with this?” you get on subsequent sTalks).

i can see what i can do in terms of screenshots but i did already stalk haxl once.

however, the following screenshot shows i don’t have any upgrades used AND i don’t have the extra 5 upgrade points haxl gives you.

haxl gives 5 upgrade points per level, where it really should be 5 less because we start the game at level 1, not level 0.

Or jobs? Back to pre-enhancements? Heh. How far back do you want to go, to when re-res didn’t have the Cute Animals attacks and had to just Bash and Drool their way through everything?

I don’t know if it’d be possible, because if you can’t upgrade your Ego, you can’t get past the higher-level forums hitting you just once.

it’s possible, but boring and slow.

g! doesn’t hit very hard if you level up enough, as i saw when i did testruns on it with a level 35 alt with the same stats as me.

it only hit for 70 or so damage on that alt.

there is enough ego in the game to do this comfortably but the grind would be immense.

i did what i did in 47 days, and only near the end did visits start taking over 1000 seconds.

it didn’t feel like a grind to me as i was making tangible progress on a daily basis.

only the first part, before i got ophelia was quite frustrating as i had to actually rely on bash and drool.

btw this thread is now also about suggestions on where the hell i go from here.

i could just go to the upgrade tab and start playing normally but that doesn’t feel right.

also suggesting move to episode 2 forum before this thread finds its inevitable place in full of won.

Don’t give him a peen until Ep3 comes out and he beats it too. And make it so that you have to spend 1 UP to beat Ep 3.
