Too complicated. And any system would have to be actively managed by mods, it couldn’t be self sustaining.

e.g. give players ‘mod points’ then hand out more mod points as they’re used (with the aim of keeping the overall number in the economy stable) 2 upvotes = 1 mod point to prevent mutual voting sprees, 2 downvotes = -1 mod point. Then constantly feed more points into the economy by mods having the discretion to hand out more to players making positive contributions, competition winners, players who acquire new peens, players who donate, and such – basically active players. Even if it’s a failure it’d be fascinating to try to come up with a stable system that works in hostile conditions Log in to see images! meeeeeeeeee edited this message on 04/05/2009 5:57AM

How about making it so that if a post gets a downvote, the text gets smaller, and if it gets upvoted, it gets bigger. -10 downvotes equals one full text size down, 10 upvotes equals one full text size up.
