We failed Ron Paul. Let’s just hope he doesn’t give up on us. He was the only honest voice of reason we had in Washington.

While I feel bad for Lonely!Ron Paul, I cannot get behind the Libertarian ideology and especially Dr. Paul’s stances on most issues. I could never in good conscience vote for someone who opposes Roe v. Wade, gun regulations, and the federal income tax.

He also comes across as quite hypocritical to me – I mean, he’s always going on about reducing governmental control of citizens, but then he does things like introduce the Sanctity of Life Act to write into federal law that life begins at conception. He has said that our country was founded on the Christian religion, which is patently untrue, and believes that secularism is dangerous for America.

And I’m not a fan of the Austrian School of economic thought, as I feel it doesn’t use enough mathematical modeling and empirical testing but rather relies on faulty verbal logic that doesn’t provide enough methodology to analyze risk and alternatives.

Oh wait, I mean…. awwwwwwwwwwww poor lonely ron paul, i wantz to give him a biiiiiiiig hug and kisses. Log in to see images!
