There’s a finite number of ‘peen, not to mention a lot of players are put at a distinct advantage due to ‘peens that are no longer available or were only given to a single or small group of players.

I fail to see how this is any different than the advantage given on EVERY leaderboard to people who joined earlier. More time means more opportunities for cred, flezz, forums pwned, buildr score upgrades, job points, incit rounds played, and medals.
Also if you joined earlier you have more of a chance at being well-known, so it affects the Popularity board and the Flamebate board too.
I have no strong feelings about an e-peen leaderboard, but unfairness due to join date is simply not a valid argument against it. |
