Looking at Hacker Builds (Spoilers Abound)

So, with the release of episode 2, we now have the hacker clbum. The hacker clbum has the most customization of any of the clbumes because we can equip 4 different pieces of hardware. As a low level hacker I was wondering what people were thinking of optimal builds. I realize that no one has yet gotten to 35; however, I want to figure out some good builds for different levels. Furthermore, due to our customization, I was wondering what we should consider good equip builds.
Here’s mine Level 14 Hacker- no equipment Ego 1015 Proc. Power 10 Offense 11 Defense 5 Luck 5 Frugality 1 Charisma 1 Upkeep 1 All of the currently available Hacker attacks (up to 404) My current equipment is: PruneServ™ Max Ego +50 nVulva TITZ Max Processing Power +15 Offense +2 nVulva TITZ Max Processing Power +15 Offense +2 nVulva GeSpot 2000 Max Processing Power +35 Offense +4 Copper Heatsink Offense +5 Fr4gGingR1teZ 2020 male reproductive organblaster™ Premier Xtreem™ Edition Max Ego +20 Since I was a Re-Re for a long time, I didn’t have much money to buy some good items, but I suppose a good item setup would be 2x Beast0r High-Speed Cables Defense +15 (30) Offense +15 (30) Luck +10 (20) 2x WETGEAR TA683V Max Processing Power +100 (200) As far as books go, what does everyone think of What Do You Call a Democrat at the Bottom of the Ocean? I’d stay with the book that has luck on it for the luck and defense. I’m not a hacker but I like getting junk in the mail after rollover.

Well all things considered, as I don’t quite have access to anything, I agree. But then, my level 8 self doesn’t have access to anything above scrmbl, which is easily the most awesome cost per damage/refresh thing there is so far.
But yeah, since getting a couple of .moar files to give me PP +70, I haven’t needed to use any healing items yet, and I’m almost at the end of ep. 1 on this guy. |

Have a hacker alt, and what I was thinking I have various computer parts, so I adapt like the pale, acne ridden amorphous nerd blob that I am based off of situation.
I didn’t know they could stack though..so the only limit is I can have 4 at a time, no limit on the type? |

Neglecting .moar files. Note: Not relevant, given the rarity of said files and intrinsic entropy. Note: High Offense not quite as important, given weakness of Hacker attacks comparatively. Consider points in Defense, Ego, Luck to obtain expensive powerful items, Upkeep to better deal with expensive powerful items once obtained. |

Right, I left it off because the .moar files aren’t fully spaded yet. I’m sure there’ll be a lot of useful ones; however, I was wondering what everyone thought about upgrades, equipment, and books.
Also, could you fix the line break? |

I still cannot equip the spider to get .moar files, do I have to beat ep.2 or reach a certain point in the story first?
Also, I bought 4 black boxes and equipped them while I wait for the rollover. Hackers are good at money making huh? |

Personally, I’d just equip Beast0r High-Speed Cables Defense and rely on moar files for Proc Power. You don’t need much, and the more Beast0r High-Speed Cables Defense you equip the more godly you become.
But that’s for an ultimate build. I guess you’d have to actually GET the moar files first. Log in to see images! |

Can anyone verify if hackers have better chances at .moar files. From a narrative standpoint it makes sense, and my hacker has gotten 3 complete .moars in comparison to my other accounts who have received none. |
