He’s got a point.
If you win the most friends peen it should be because you’re ****ing awesome and got a lot of friends, and if you get the flamebate peen it should be because you make awesome threads.
Nothing against the people who have it and got it other ways, but it’s not really that much of an accomplishment.

How about instead of removing the leaderboards, people stop acting like fabulous persons and create fake contests that require zero skill to participate in and the winner is determined by a coin flip (or something similar)?

Even though I whored my way to the friend peen, I wouldn’t be opposed to them being completely removed. I wouldn’t like the idea of them being retired though. Particularly since 25% of the Flamebate peen holders picked it up using bots and in klan posts.
Granted, none of it is the intent of the leaderboards, but if they wanted to have things run that way, those peens wouldn’t be bumociated with a leaderboard, they would be awarded the way the Wiki peen is awarded. It’s just that that would take an awful lot of extra time for the admins.
Personally, I think the spreading of the BPs is kind of nice. People like contests and at least there is a reward potential and a fun activity rather than just endless spam. Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted. Log in to see images! |

this is going in reverse, what we need are more peens.. i want cz to do a contest where everyone who enters earns a peen, not just a few people. that way its still a unique peen but lots of people can get it.. tired of these contests where some earn a peen for it and some dont.
